Sen. Pryor supports the addition of Denatonium Benzoate in Antifreeze

There has been more support for the addition of Denatonium Benzoate in anitfreeze from a Sen. Mark Pryor, D-Ark.

Pryor announced he is sponsoring legislation, the Engine Coolant and Antifreeze Bittering Agent Act of 2005, to require manufacturers of engine coolant and antifreeze to add a bittering agent to the liquid that will make the substance unpalatable to children and pets."

There are always good people who support this legislation. Becky featherston is one such person. She is a board member and is active in a number of non profit organisations that care for dogs and cats.

Hopefully soon, federal legislation will be passed requiring denatonium benzoate to be added to antifreeze and coolants.
